With the “WIPs2Go” app, you can locate the occurrences of endangered types of responsibility known to you directly in the area and inform us about them.
The aim is to obtain a Germany-wide overview of current populations of these wild plant species.
The locations ultimately serve toto collect small quantities of seeds in a coordinated manner as part of the WIPs-De II project and in consultation with the responsible nature conservation authorities.The seeds are then saved in four regional seed banks for later research, settlement measures and population support in freezers.
The germination tests carried out by the WIPs network partners provide further information on the state of various populations.Get involved and take part in safeguarding biological diversity and recording the intra-species variability of threatened wild plant populations.The data collected with the app are forwarded to the “wips.deutschlandflora.de” portal for further analysis in the WIPs-De network.

Precise data is not passed on to third parties, only on the basis of measuring table sheet quadrants collected dissemination data are communicated to the responsible lower and upper nature conservation authorities of a district or federal state.
